Whey Down South
The first production of The Narwhal Ensemble, a Theatre Royal Plymouth-supported company. This was my first devising experience outside of training. What started as a small scratch performance became a full-blown tour. The main story followed a village attempting to revive its annual Cheese-Rolling competition.

I had such fun playing the fierce Jenny, and helping devise her journey to cheese-rolling glory.

Sometimes teching a show in a new venue provides unexpected beauty.

In this show, every piece of set and every prop had multiple purposes. So, of course, a bike horn made a perfect substitute for a mobile phone.

We pulled a lot of inspfration and styling rom folk music for this show

Jenny with the infamous Council Cheeses. Who knew Edam could be so obstructive?

It was great to dive into the physical comedy of the cheese-rolling finale!
